At Journey, there are a number of ministries and non-profits we partner and serve with to share the love of Jesus through the Gospel and through felt needs. We have some information for each below, with links to their website for more information.

Caring for Oxford

Called to be compassionate and caring to those who surround us, Journey Lutheran has established a "Caring for Oxford" fund that will seek to provide financial resources for mental health care expenses to those who may be emotionally, mentally, spiritually or physically struggling following the tragic Oxford High School shooting on November 30, 2021.

Casa Colibri (Guatemala)

Casa Colibrí is a not-for-profit humanitarian organization committed to helping the Mayan people of northwest Guatemala improve their lives through programs in health, education, and infrastructure.

Elli’s House (Detroit)

Elli's House is a nonprofit serving homeless & runaway women involved in human trafficking in the city of Detroit. Their mission is to abolish sex trafficking in the city of Detroit through building relationships, offering safe shelter, and providing education.

Family of God (Detroit)

Family of God is a non-profit Lutheran ministry committed to bringing the transformative power of the Gospel to the lives of those living in Southwest Detroit. They strive to bring hope to the hopeless by showing their community the love and compassion that our Savior Jesus Christ has for everyone.

Gifts for All God’s Children

In 1987, Gifts For All God’s Children began at Faith Lutheran Church in Troy, Michigan as an advent ministry to aid underserved youth. That year, 187 children received Christmas gifts. In December 2021, they were able to provide more than 2,600 children with a total of 13,000 Christmas gifts. Since 1987, more than 77,000 children have been served!

Love INC (North Oakland County)

Love INC of North Oakland County has been in operation since 2007 and networks over 25 churches to serve and transform lives in the suburban communities of Oxford, Oakland, Brandon, Addison Twp., Lake Orion, Rochester, and Clarkston, Independence, Ortonville and Auburn Hills.

The Michigan District, LCMS

The Michigan District, LCMS is one of 35 districts of The Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (and Journey Lutheran’s home district). Our living hope inspires our dependence on, devotion to, and commitment to the Word of God, worship, prayer, and each other and moves us to take the love of Christ to our family, friends, neighbors, community, and the world in word and deed.

Oxford Pregnancy Center

The Oxford Pregnancy Center of Oxford Michigan opened its doors in 1985 to serve women facing unplanned pregnancies in the North Oakland County area. They are a non-profit referral and educational organization. All of their services are free and confidential regardless of your age, race, gender or social status.

Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (Ortonville)

Journey partners in ministry with Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Ortonville, streaming our worship services to their church, and leading worship in person through a partnership with our pastors and vicar.

St. Paul Community Lutheran Church (Pontiac)

St. Paul Community Lutheran Church is a multi-cultural church, serving the diverse community of Pontiac, Michigan.  They offer bilingual Sunday worship service, weekly Bible studies and Family Night dinners, as well as food and clothing assistance to those in need. “Meeting the people where they are, with the Gospel that changes lives.” “Conocer a las personas donde están con el Evangelio que cambia vidas.”
