In each of our ministries at Journey, we live out our motto that we’re better together.

Children’s Ministry

We love to share the gospel with our children at Journey. Each week in service a children’s message is offered, and there just might be free candy! Also, we offer Sunday school throughout the year. We call these Sunday school pods, where we will meet four to five weeks in a row on Sunday mornings in the Early Childhood Center. We have explored God’s Greatness in God’s Wonder Lab, gained courage in Jesus during Camp Courage, and explored the coming of our Savior in Advent Adventures. Email Mike to get info on our next Pod!

Middle School/High School Ministry

Our high school ministry is built for relationships. We have a small group that meets for discussion, games, and good food. We also have theme nights where we spend more time together and enjoy the greatness of our God through one another, such as movie nights, neon night, and our Christmas party. We are excited to offer a mission trip in the summer of 2023 for our high school students! Email Mike to get connected!

Men’s Ministry

Journey’s Men’s Ministry is built on our motto: Better Together. We believe that we’re better together with Jesus and better together with each other. We work hard to include other churches’ men’s ministries when we get together for fellowship and service projects. We’ve worked at Elli’s House in Detroit, renovating their host building; serving food at St. Paul in Pontiac and at Family of God in Detroit; and partnered with service projects across our communities. Some of our greatest fellowship events were around the bonfire, encouraging one another in faith and life. Contact Pastor Matt to see when we’re getting together next.

Women’s Ministry

The women of Journey gather several times a year for fellowship, service, learning and fun. In the past they have participated in Bible studies, had a “dress-up” Tea Party, packed hygiene kits for Casa Colibri in Guatemala, wrapped Bibles for Gifts for All God's Children, done craft projects and much more. You are welcome to join in these activities. Contact Judy if you have questions.
