Reading the Bible Together
We created a Bible Reading Schedule and Prayer Request Booklet that you can pick up in the purple hall way at church or download by clicking this link. In its pages, you’ll find a Bible reading schedule for the year. It starts with worship on Sunday, readings from the Old and New Testament Monday through Friday, and readings from Proverbs and Psalms on Saturday. This is also available digitally in the YouVersion Bible App when you search “Reformation Reading Plan” or click this link. If reading the Bible is a new habit, we also included some habit helpers in the booklet from James Clear’s Atomic Habits. If you find yourself wanting to talk or ask questions about what you’re reading, I’d love to have a conversation with you about what you’re reading.
At the back of the booklet, you’ll find space to record prayer requests. I’d encourage you to record your own prayers, and prayers you receive from other people. I’ve found God to be extremely attentive and responsive to my prayers as I’ve kept a record of them over the years.
You can join the reading plan at any time during the year as we share each week’s readings in our email newsletter.

We have videos for Reading the Bible Together of every chapter of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Romans, 1 Corinthians, Ephesians, Hebrews, James, Jude, Genesis, and Isaiah on our YouTube channel. Click here to see the full and updated playlist to select your desired video.
We’re asking three questions after each reading that we invite you to answer in the comments.
1. What is going on in the reading?
2. What does this mean for you today?
3. What are you going to do about it today?
