1. Opening Prayer (Pastor Ben)

2. Officer Positions

a. Scott Rieman, Nicole Graber, & Mike Gray - New board members

b. Mike Laviolette & David Perkins - Running for second term

Motion: Mark Smith made a motion to approve new and returning board members.

Seconded: John Nusselt

Approved: Unanimous

3. Constitution Mission Statement - Minor Change (Pastor Ben)

a. Pastor Ben suggested changing wording to reflect 3 main values

i. Mission Statement changed to: Welcoming, Empowering and Sending Everyone on a Journey with Jesus!

● Value 1: We welcome all seeking truth and grace.

● Value 2: We empower each other through Biblical Literacy and Gospel Fluency

● Value 3: We send to make disciples where we live, work and rest so that all may know the love of Christ.

Motion: Jay Eastman made a motion to accept the new wording to the constitution.

Seconded: Mark Lockwood

Approved: Unanimous

4. House Committee (Mark Lockwood)

a. A committee is being formed to focus on plans for the purchased house

i. Mark Lockwood, John Nusselt, Mike Tenuta, Mike Gray, & Gary George volunteered to be on the committee

5. Pastor Housing Forgiveness (Mark Smith)

a. Mark explained to those present that unexpected circumstances in the housing market in Katy, Texas affected the sale of Pastor Ben’s house and caused a great financial burden. He stated that, in December, the BOA approved a $20,000 loan to the Spauldings to help and explained the terms and process of repayment.
