Confirmation

Journey Lutheran Confirmation Program

  • In the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) of which Journey is a proud member, Confirmation is a public profession of faith that takes place after a period of instruction, over several years. Confirmation aims to educate our students in church life, doctrine, and what it means to follow Jesus. This process is currently under review. Call or email for updated information.

  • Our confirmation program is designed for students in 6th-8th grade.

  • Confirmation is a two year program. The class meets on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month, from 6-8PM. During our class time we grow in fellowship together, share a meal, and share in class time together. Assignments include sermon notes, memory work, and in class presentations. Call or email for updated information.

  • After a period of two years of instruction and participation, a student will apply to be confirmed at Journey Lutheran. They will state their confession of faith, take part in a meeting with a pastor or staff member, and be confirmed at our fall confirmation service. You can access the confirmation application below.
